Most golfers go their whole lives without a hole-in-one, but Arnold Palmer had 20, his first while he was in high school and his last in 2011, when he was 82 years old.

While he greatly enjoyed the latter, which came at the par-3 No.7 on Bay Hill’s Charger Course, Palmer said his favorite was likely a 5-iron from 182 yards on September 3, 1986, on the third hole at TPC Avenal in Maryland during the Chrysler Cup pro-am. Incredibly, he’d aced the same hole with the same club the day before, and news crews had showed up half-jokingly to see if he’d do it again. They weren’t disappointed, and the ace was captured on video. Chi Chi Rodriguez, playing in the group ahead of Palmer, learned of the shot and remarked, “I used to think Arnold Palmer could walk on water. Now I know it."
